Back in the game!
Report Date: June 28, 2020
Picked up live shrimp this morning, and met Rebecca, Randy and Luke at the landing at 8am. Ran to a deep drop to start the trip on the outgoing, and it was game on right off the bat. All three caught a keeper, 2 redfish and a really nice 18 inch flounder, to start us off. Hit a tree drop and caught a 4 lb black drum, plus a keeper trout, and Rebecca had a big trout, probably 3 to 4 pounds, flip off just as I tried to slip the net under it. On to another trout drop, and they weren't thick, but the ones there were the right ones. Also caught a blacktip shark and 3 big ladyfish there. Our last drop produced 4 nice upper slot redfish, plus a number of little trout. Ended up with 6 reds, 12 trout, 1 black drum, 1 flounder, 5 sharks, 1 blue, 3 ladyfish, and a couple of whiting. Finally found someone in the Ulmer clan that can actually catch a fish! Pics to follow.
