Fished Simon and Nicole this morning, and they wanted to target Cobia. Unfortunately the wind was up and the river too rough to sight fish them. We set up on the anchor, put out squid and live herring on the bottom, and waited. And finally caught one! It probably weighed in at 5 or 6 pounds, soaking wet. Not the smallest I've ever caught, but not far behind. Nicole did catch a couple of bluefish on a Vudu shrimp while we were waiting for the big bite that never showed up. Kind of a typical Cobia fishing day: takes a lotta chicken, and a lotta beer.
