Report Date: May 13, 2020

Decided to try my roe trout drops this morning, and look at some old drops to see if it was happening on any of them. Basically, it wasn't. I picked up 1 nice upper slot Redfish, a very nice flounder, and a half dozen trout, with only one over 14 inches. My trout drops were not holding much bait yet, other than a few small schools of glass minnows. Once the small menhaden, mullet and glass minnows get thick on them, the bigger trout will show. Should get going strong here in the next couple of weeks. I tried throwing a Mirrodine, and a Vudu under the cork, but a live mud minnow seemed to work the best this morning.
