Another good bite
Report Date: May 11, 2020
Fished Gil and Jancy this morning. Had an incoming tide to work with. Winds were blowing again today, strong from the NW. I've had my fill of wind this spring. Had mud minnows in the well, and picked up live shrimp also. Started on a flat, and picked up one shark and 4 trout, with one keeper. Tried a drop I usually fish on high falling, and found the fish not too far away. And they were pigs. They put 10 redfish in the boat, with only one under 23 inches. The rest were 25 and up. Caught several nice keeper trout along with them. Tried another spot or two, then hit the trout again on top of the high. Ended with 16 trout, 10 reds, 2 ladyfish, 2 blues, and the shark. Lotta pulls this morning, with a very nice couple to fish.
