Excellent scouting trip

Report Date: April 22, 2020

My charter cancelled this morning, so decided to try them on my own. Caught a half dozen reds, all way over the slot, and broke two off on the shells. They were all pigs, caught on big live shrimp. Half were on an old drop that was on fire for several years, then fell completely off for a couple of years. Glad to see them there again. Last drop was 3 hours after high, and put it on some really nice trout. All were fat with roe, so released them. I caught them on the live shrimp to start, then switched out to the new vudu shrimp color green hornet under the cork. I really like it, and have done pretty well with it every time I've thrown it.
