Windy Redfish

Report Date: February 27, 2020

Fished with 4 very nice gentleman today. Had an absolutely awful day to fish. Sustained winds of 15 plus with gusts to 25. And cold to boot. Tried to stay out of the wind as much as possible, so ended up most of the trip on docks and structure. Picked around and had 3 redfish, 2 black drum, and a whiting through most of the trip. The wind finally let us hit one flat before heading in, and the reds were there. Picked up 7 more, one 28 inch fish, plus a flounder. I really didn't feel bad about putting 14 in the boat today. They enjoyed it too and were pleased with the results.
