Happy New Year
Report Date: January 1, 2020
Not a fishing report this morning, just a quick note to wish all of you a Happy New Years. Thanks to all my clients, both those of you who have fished with me through the years, and to those I got to meet and fish for the first time this past year. To summarize the fishing this past year, awesome is the only word I can think of to aptly describe our year. Mother Nature cut us some slack last winter, and our trout bite stayed incredible all year long. The new regulations on the red drum seems to be helping, and there are plenty of small fish in the system to support another great year in 2020. I did 19 charters in November and December, and had 249 redfish and 414 trout put in the boat. Thats almost a 35 fish average per trip, which is pretty good in my book. If we get through the next two months without a freeze kill, the fishing will be off the charts this coming year. Wishing all of you good health and tight lines. See you on the water.
