Redfish bite

Report Date: December 27, 2019

After spending the Christmas holidays with my Granddaughter in Greenvile, it was back to work today. And we had an absolutely beautiful day to fish. Gil and Jancy Patrick were on the boat with me. Having big high tides, and only picked up one trout before the tide turned. Hit a deep drop and Jancy put 3 Redfish in the boat, one weighing 8 pounds on the boga scale. Moved around a little and then hit a strong bite, with 7 more trout, and 18 more redfish. Many were in the slot, a couple over, and a couple just under. Caught them on live shrimp fished both on jigheads on the bottom drifting with the current, and under popping corks. Really nice day to fish with a super nice couple.
