Brays Island tournament

Report Date: November 6, 2019

Fished with Chuck and Debbie in the annual Brays Island Redfish tournament. Started on mid outgoing tide, and hit a fish or two right off the bat. Unfortunately, they were too big. One was 24 and the other 26 inches. And that was our theme for most of the day. We did catch 3 in the slot to weigh in, but not top of the slot fish. Ended up in the middle of the pack. Had a lot of other bites, and they put 10 black drum in the boat, along with 19 trout, to add to the 10 Redfish we caught. Didn't keep any fish, but they had some dandy black drum and the trout were almost all legal, with some around the 19 inch mark. Fun couple to fish as always.
