Good trout bite

Report Date: October 24, 2019

Fished Larry,Judy, Bill and Linda today. Started on mid falling tide, being pushed out quickly by a strong NE wind. Our first drop produced a lot of trout, around 20, but most all were under the minimum. Moved to try and find some bigger fish, and we did. Hit 3 or 4 drops and caught fish on about all of them, using live shrimp again under the popping corks. Also fished them on a jighead in a deeper creek and picked up several keepers with that method. Ended up the morning catching 36 trout, 5 redfish, a flounder and a bonnethead shark. Kept 6 trout and 3 redfish for their supper. Nice crew to fish, and glad to have them back on the boat again.
