Best Redfish day in a while

Report Date: July 14, 2019

Fished with John and Kay, Elizabeth, Paula, and Jack this morning. The darn weatherman missed it again. At least he is consistent. A forecasted light wind blew hard out of the west all morning.Started on an old drop, and picked up a couple of smaller trout, a small shark or two, and a very nice Redfish slot fish. After a nice Bonnethead, we moved to another drop. Had to look around a little, but Paula got us going again on the Redfish. Picked up 13 off a flat, with all of them being upper slot or barely over fish. Also had one keeper trout. Ended up the morning with 14 Redfish, 5 trout, and 6 Bonnetheads, Lemon, and Sharpnose sharks. Everyone got in on the action, and seemed to really enjoy the action.
