Scorching hot temperatures, hot bite to boot

Report Date: July 3, 2019

Fished today with the Jamie and Kelley Oswald family, Coleman, 8, and Anne Marie, 4 years old. It was hot before the sun ever came up, and was a 100 degrees when we got back at noon. Tried a few drops with not much luck, so ran to my shark hole and let Coleman catch a couple of Bonnetheads to start. Also had a few Ladyfish and a flounder. My next drop was on top of the falling tide, and they had 3 beautiful trout, one hitting the scales at 3 lbs. Also had a big Sandbar shark hooked up that thankfully came off beside the boat. Ended with the 3 nice trout, 8 ladyfish, 4 jack crevalle, 4 sharks, a flounder and a bluefish. Lots of bites and action which is what is needed for kids. And mom and dad enjoyed it too. And if you look at the picture of Anne Marie on the ride back to the landing, you can tell this fishing is hard work!!
