Better than Expected

Report Date: June 13, 2019

After a week of cancelling charters due to 14 inches of rain since June 4, got back on the water today. I figured it would be super tough, as the water was very fresh and muddy to start. Had live shrimp, and the first fish they caught was a beautiful 20 inch trout we released. Also picked up a couple of big bonnethead sharks at that drop. On to some trees, and they caught 2 Reds, 2 more trout, and 4 nice Black drum. Hit my last drop and they had 3 nice slot redfish in the boat in short order, and then a very pretty pushing 8 lbs redfish to finish off the day. Have the same gentleman again tomorrow, and feel a little better about the bite.
