Report Date: June 4, 2019
Fished with Josh Hill this morning. Josh likes to fish only artificials, so I didn't have bait issues today. Our forecasted 5 to 10 winds never got below 15 with gusts to 20 or better. Straight from the east, so my west side trout drops were all but unfishable. WE worked hard to find some fish, but they were scattered all over. Josh threw a topwater to start, and had 3 or 4 strikes on it but none ever got hooked. We also used a Vudu under the cork, and a Vudu Vixen which caught a couple. Tried a Gulp and Mirrodine with no luck. Ended up with 4 trout, all released. Slowest day I've had in weeks.
