Fished the Al Truver crew this morning out of Brays island. The weatherman missed it again, as the winds were strong from the West. Started on a dock and picked up a Black drum, a nice slot Redfish, and a ray before two dolphin came storming through our drop. End of bite. Tried a flat with no bites, then to a deep drop with lots of structure. Had one good Black drum I'm sure break off on the structure, and they caught one whiting and one Bonnethead shark. Had one awesome hook up with the fish never stopping, and I thought it was going to spool us. Somehow the hook pulled out of the fish. Likely a very big Redfish. Not a banner day, but the water was very muddy after all the wind and storms the last couple of days.
