Just fair today
Report Date: March 31, 2019
Fished Tony Leung from Atlanta today. He had fished with me in 2015 and was one of my first trips in my new Islamorada. Had a bit of wind today to fight. Started on some docks, and he had 4 fish hooked up, but they all came unbuttoned. I'm sure they were Redfish by the way the rod bent, but for some odd reason just didn't stay hooked. Pretty unusual. Ran to another couple of drops and got on some slot Reds, putting two in the boat and breaking one off in a tree. A couple of black drum also bit the shrimp. Ended at another dock, with one big over the slot Redfish, a small whiting , and a couple of trout.
