Fished with Rich and Bill today out of Brays Island. Hadn't fished to the north of the bridge on the Broad River for quite a while, and it showed. Tried a number of drops on first incoming with only a couple of quick bites on live shrimp, likely small trout. Tried a deep creek I had been doing very well in and the water was coming hard and dirty, with no bites. Finally ran to a new dock a friend owns, and we got on a small bite. Had 3 nice slot reds, and Bill put a good 6 plus pound one in the boat, releasing all. Caught two stingrays along with the Reds. They were there first Redfish, and as Bill is 84 years young, it wasn't a total bust by any means.
