Report Date: February 27, 2019
Went to the river to do a little scouting today. Started off in a light rain, but went anyway. Hit a flat first with no luck. Back into a deep creek to see if the trout were still there. They were not. I had bought live shrimp, and laid them on a jighead against the trees. Picked up 3 Redfish, a nice sized Black drum, and a small Bluefish. No trout. They have moved back out with the 58 degree water. Hit another oyster drop on the incoming, and picked up 2 more reds, then threw a Vudu shrimp and caught 3 nice trout in 5 feet of water. Fun little trip to actually get to fish and catch a few.
