Fished AJ and Micheal this morning. Have had the opportunity to fish them several times before and fun guys and good to fisherman to have on the boat. Ran to a flat on the top of the falling tide, and worked the oysters and grass line with no pulls. Up into a deep creek where I have been doing pretty well, and we got on a bite. I had live shrimp in the boat, and they started getting trout bites. Again today the bite was very soft and sometimes hard to detect. They ended up putting 8 good quality fish in the boat. Also had 4 black drum, one which they kept for supper, and both had on a big Redfish. AJ put his in the boat, and it was an over the slot fish. Micheal also had one hooked up, fought it quite a while, and it got down into a treetop and cut him off. It was a really good fish also. Ended the morning with the 14 fish. Not too bad for a mixed bag in the middle of February.
