Report Date: February 12, 2019
Fished a couple of trips so far this week. Had Larry and John on Sunday with small craft advisories due to wind. Had to hunt and peck places out of the wind, but did manage to put a couple of Redfish and 3 trout in the boat. Then had my oldest Grandson in from Seattle today, and we were able to catch our limit of Redfish, 4, and 4 trout, of which we kept a couple for supper. The trout came on a Vudu shrimp fished tightlined in 12 to 15 feet of water. I missed a handful as the bite was very non aggressive to say the least. Got on some dock Redfish using mud minnows, and John put the biggest upper slot fish in the boat throwing a gulp on a flutter hook. Looks like more wind tomorrow so may wait till Thursday to give it another try.
