Back on the bite
Report Date: February 3, 2019
Had a beautiful day today, so jumped in the boat to do a little scouting. Fished the Broad River, and got right on the fish on the high falling tide. Threw a 4 inch Molten gulp shrimp on a flutter hook, and picked off 6 from the first school. Left them to look for more, and ended up seeing a couple of small schools, with a few trout hanging out with them. Spooked them up to where they wouldn't bite, but I really didn't care, just wanted to see them. Tried one more drop and again got on the bite. Put 5 more really nice upper slot and over fish in the boat on the gulp. Released everything. The water temps were back up into the low 50's and should climb even more with the warm week we have forecast.
