Fun trip with Capt Bryan and the Legend

Report Date: January 19, 2019

Had an invite from Capt Bryan Freeman to jump in his boat today. Jim Goller and Robert Zell were also in the boat. Caught a dozen trout on the top of the falling tide, mostly on Vudu shrimp tightlined. Then went to a flat on mid falling and picked up 7 or 8 over the slot Reds, all caught on Mirrodine suspending twitch baits. They really smash them. Checked several other drops without much action, but Robert did pick up a nice 26 inch tagged Redfish. Saved the info on the tag to submit back to the DNR. Finished up the trip really strong, working on a couple of schools of Redfish with Gulps and Vudu shrimp. Ended up with about 25 Redfish and the dozen trout. Have really big tides this week, so probably wont fish too much.
